So I wonder if he got the recorded letter or a note from RM saying he'd got one to collect?

Perhaps that spurred him into action...

The only running he has done is away from it.

Royal mail tracker confirms he got an attempted delivery card at his UKFSN address. He got 15 days to pick it up. Now the tracker says the letter was not collected and is returned to sender.
