BT Infinity Question

[link to this post]

Guys i am currently on 4.5Mb Unlimited connection on SKY. My cabinet will be going live in next couple of weeks hopefully. My question is

i currently use a lot of Peer to Peer Programs and torrents would switching to BT infinity unlimited fibre mean a slower connection when using such programs e.g would it be as fast as 4.5mb on torrents say

any info or examples from anyone on infinity already to help me decide

Many Thanks

Darren

theres a downloading limit on infinity, when you breech that you get limited to 2mb during peek times other than that if should be 6 or 7 times faster

is the question specific to BT Total Broadband's Infinity product or are you also considering other FTTC operators that will be available to you ?

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

They try to reduce the speed on torrents.

Newsgroups are far superior though, and they run at full speed all the time.
