Took about 2 hours at ours but that was just a simple install the modem and router next to the master socket. Includes time the engineer took after this at the cabinet and then back at the house on the phone to the helpdesk to get the "red light problem" fixed which took about 30-45 minutes.
The red light problem being a problem with the HH2 firmware at the time where it wouldn't connect to the modem. I suspect this problem is long fixed though.

Must have taken around 45 mins here - possibly less. 15 mins in cab? 20 mins in house 10 mins chatting.
Same here.
Both of the BT engineers I have had here have claimed that it is NOT possible to connect to the service without a router attached to the modem...it is.

Stress - the condition brought about by having to resist the temptation to beat the living daylights out of someone who richly deserves it.
2 hours ish, but he did move the master socket for me and was dragging his feet a little as it was the 2nd to last call of the day and I don't think he wanted to do the last one
