Exchange enabled but my cab isn't...

[link to this post]

Anyone able to lookup a cab and see when it's likely to be enabled please... Hitting a brick wall via official channels...

SSMEL p27 SN12 6XB

Checking the December 2012 PCP document I see:

SSMEL MELKSHAM SN126XB {SSMEL}{P27} 0 100% 0.98 9b Yes FTTC

Thanks!

What you have looked up, is all the info you are going to find out..

your cabinet is getting FTTC at some point.

Your exchange has already been upgraded (Melksham), and is accepting orders -- so all you need to do now, is wait until your local cabinet colour looks at tad greener, and a new box sits close by. smile

If your on a bt line, then plug your number into the bt checker just in case its been done already and your already good to go.

Uplift of 0.98 ought to mean that multiply your current speed by x0.98 and that will give your expected fibre speed...
ie your fttc speed would be slower than you already get. Maybe that's why it's not worthwhile?
