98% getting FTTC from cabinet 139, 1% Exchange only so no fibre for now. Last 1% is always missing if more than one result - they must round down the figures.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - Plusnet Value Fibre 80/20 trial.

Don't panic... They have put back all of the june compketion atez. The work in Carlisle afaik is close to completion, with multiple cabinets at a stage in which they are ready to go live.
It could still go live at any moment.

Seen more men today tinkering in the 5 road ends cab.
http://www.fibremap.bt.com/ says the 30th. Just with Sky hoping they will be able to supply me fibre.

Word on the street is that it just needs activated at the exchange side and slight bit of copper linking the two cabs.

personaly id trust the data on that site as far as i could throw it.

http://www.openreach-communications.co.uk/superfast/... is much better

Good luck with sky as i still carnt get a answer out of them other then call back when bt tell you the cab is live, its <BEEP>ing me off so much now i might just go with bt anyways (i also like the idea i can use my OWN router).

Still saying that when i asked one of the women manning the sky stall in the lanes about the fibre offerings from sky they both said "the what??"

Yep i really am THAT thick!

Smallworld Cable ..... 5Meg then upped to 20Meg
O2 ADSL2+ .... 13.6Meg (ish)
Sky ADSL2+ .... 3.5Meg
Sky FTTC .... Well when it gets here and considering i can see the site for the cab from my bedroom window im expecting the full 40meg

Glad to hear this, thought I was going to have to wait another 3 month haha! The cabinet appeared on my street around 2 - 3 week ago. (Harraby)
