Cabinet Doc Info?

[link to this post]

Remember during last year there was a document leaked showing all the cabinet info etc...

Now my exchange is due to be upgraded end of March and a new green cabinet as appeared down the road.

However, just wondered if there is a doc like last years with anymore info, when its actually due etc.

My postcode is LN3 4GD. Sudbrooke Exchange.

If anyone would mind having a look that would be brilliant? smile

Awesome so still going ahead and we should get it as it says 100% of the lines?

Is the 111.13 the uplift?

Average we currently have about 2mb so what should we be on once its all set up?

Thanks for having a look smile

Thanks Mike i hadn't seen that.

Surely the Uplift is too high, its pretty large number compared to the usual lower numbers?

2.0 multiplied by 111.13 thats 222 or something?

Not sure how they calculate the uplift, perhaps you are lucky off your cabinet and get 2 Mbps.

Perhaps there are others in your area that get sub 1 Mbps and that brings the average for your area down?

Perhaps the December data works on 17a profile speeds (or the soon to be released 80 Mpbs profile).

Also, if you filter the data on the uplift column, you can see that 111.13 is by no means the biggest uplift (I filtered it on <= 200 and BALMORAL shows uplift of 191.22 for one of its PCP's).

That sounds like a very strange filter tongue. I suggest it excludes hardly anything.

It excludes all over 200. Reverse the < and it wouldn't pick up Balmoral?

According to SamKnows.

Our exchange services....

5,034 residential premises
125 non-residential premises.

Be interested to see how fast we will be able to get?

Sam knows also claims that FTTC will be on the 1/3/12, everywhere else has said 31/3/12 how accurate are SamKnows?

They also have 21CN WBC status: at 21/3/12 what is that, i assume its an upgrade on normal internet?

FTTC requires the fibre from the new cabinet to terminate at an exchange that is WBC enabled.

In your case it is likely that your FTTC cabinet will therefore connect to your echange, but not certain. There are many cases now of "exchanges" being FTTC enabled but not WBC enabled, with the fibre going to a neighbouring WBC enabled exchange. IIRC some have even had WBC enablement later, but I would be certain that any cabinets already FTTC'ed would continue to route elsewhere. Infill of omitted cabinets may go to it though.

Brilliant, BT Open Reach page now claims the exchange is due for June.

Even though they have installed new cabinets around etc etc.

BT Open Reach even emailed me to say it was on its way.

Everywhere else still says end of March.

Whats going on?

What is the most accurate checker of when its coming...?
