openreach router and hub

i never really turn my router and hub off but would it effect my internet if i turn it off at night cuz i swear the openreach router slows down things sometimes

Openreach provide the modem, not the equipment beyond it. It's OK, to power off if you wish. Does your modem have sticker saying 3B on the underside ?

OK, so there's less chance that it's overheating, is it wall mounted ? It might help if it were.

How are you judging this 'slowness' ?

its mounted to the wall just that sometimes loading pages is slow and things like sky player on xbox seem to play up now always being out of sync the speed seems to be good is the 2b the latest box as i had it installed in august
