It is nice when it does happen.
It's been 2 weeks now and being able to watch Iplayer HD and lovefilm streaming without any stutter is fab.
Bit envious of being able to see stats, ECI modems are being problematic I hear.

just out of interest, why does your modem say it's annex b - i thought the standard in the uk was annex a, annex b being used in central and eastern europe.

VDSL2 is Annex B now.

As in legacy ADSL and ADSL2+, VDSL2 includes regional bandplan annexes that specify PSD Mask for numerous regional bandplans and are designed to provide coexistence with other services. Annex A specifies bandplans for the North American region and enables VDSL2 to be deployed with traditional POTS telephony or in an all-digital mode (similar to Annex J in ADSL2). Annex B specifies bandplans for Europe and enables VDSL2 deployment with underlying POTS and ISDN services. Annex C allows VDSL2 to coexist with TCMISDN services, found primarily in Japan

I take it from your stats that the cabinet is just outside your window?

Or no one else on it yet. Mine has dropped from 132Mbit to 122Mbit as the cab fills up

Very nice too ! I seem to recall that you were within spitting distance of the cab.

No chance that your router shows a bits per bin graph ? Also do you have a 'before and after' for that ?

Yes, the cab is just across the road.

I did start the graphing tool that has been released for the Openreach HG612 modem, so I have some images/graphs/data from before and after - what in particular are you looking for?

Just interested, no 80/20 circuits round this way AFAIK, I was presuming that it just occupies more of the higher bins, and wondered if this was right.
