Your postcode is showing as Cab 43 and not scheduled in the December list, sorry.

Edit:

Cab 43 serves the following postcodes:

Postcode SAU_NODE_ID Percent Lines
DE130DZ {EMBURTO}{P43} 12%
DE130DU {EMBURTO}{P43} 33%
DE130EA {EMBURTO}{P43} 87%
DE130ED {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%
DE130DY {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%
DE130DN {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%
DE130DD {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%
DE130EB {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%
DE130DX {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%
DE130EE {EMBURTO}{P43} 100%

Here's a map http://batchgeo.com/map/1f0d84cfd95c6b9c683d97ff1cca...

As the cabinet only serves what looks like a small number of lines, BT may have deemed it uneconomically viable, or of course it could be in the April list, which is not yet publically available.

:'(
<insert lots of expletives>

It does say on Sam Knows webpage that scehuled for 31st June so ill keep fingers crossed .ever the optimist.

I was getting that sinking feeling - house is on the market any how - was have been almost a reason to stay.

What does the % mean? if my post code is 100% does that mean 100% not fibre optic <apologises for ignorance>.

If we move house it would be a check to see if any potential new house has it installed.

what roads in Stretton can get the faster speeds now.

ps we only get 0.5mg through Sky - rang numerous times and they cant improve the speeds. Do you think swtitching to BT ADSL 2 will improve things?

Thanks

Scott

The 100% means that all lines in that postcode are served from that cabinet. It is nothing to do with whether or not FTTC/FTTP will be supplied, but as RONSKI said, it was shown as "Not scheduled" in the December data.

Samknows is just talking about the exchange that serves that postcode, not the cabinet.

Your speed from Sky is pretty poor, but you are almost certainly already on their ADSL2+ service. Is there any chance you can find the line stats from the router? Connection speeds, attenuations and noise margins are the most important.

at work at the moment but ill do a sceen grab of the stats when home later.

we are something like 5.3 Km away from the exchange as the crow flies - so it was never gonna be too good.

ironically I have my mobile with '3' and there 3G is about 3meg. I tether o that when i get really annoyed.

thanks for your help.

I am gutted - any idea when the April list will be out to the public.

Only when someone leaks it. Confidential to ISPs and anyone found leaking won't get it again. Maybe the last two, (April and Dec last year), got found out.

Perhaps, if you're willing to spend thousands of pounds.
