Cab 5 has not been complete yet, needs dew things doing which require the road being dug up, and we all know what Ashby road is like.

Thanks, that make sense. Any idea when the work will be done? Weeks or months?

Anyone know why PCP8 on Horninglow Road was not upgraded when all the other cabs around have been upgraded? it appears its only one in the area not to be upgraded even though it serves as far as im aware a new residential estate. but it did indicate my postcode was supposed to be served 100% from cab 53 but it isnt.

Well, technically it should be before 30th June, so maybe in the next few weeks.

Just been connected this morning (near town hall) to Sky. Went from syncing at 7000kbps to:

DownStream Connection Speed 39998 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 1999 kbps

which is nice.

Cab 17 has finally gone live on Dallow Bridge. Was wondering who to go with sky or BT? If I can get sky to get rid of the £50 connection fee that would be cheaper. Can someone help me on this please? For what it's worth I'm with sky at the moment for phone and broadband.

Glad to hear people are getting some good speeds.

I had mine Installed today, engineer I must say was a credit to BT, he moved the master socket upstairs and got rid of all the old cabling from the wall inside and outside the house, real nice chap. He was from Scotland area as the demand as been so high around here.

Speed is currently settling in but currently getting 65meg down 15 upload on speedtest.net, which is a huge increase from 1.8 down, 500k up I had before. So nice to be able to download a 10gig file in 10 mins rather than 10 hours+ smile

Finally cab 17 on dallow bridge is up and running predicted 64.7 d/l.

Was wondering who to go with sky or BT? Phone is already with sky not much difference in price apart from BT line rental is more expensive but sky charge £50 connection fee? Also sky have a new router out which is supposed to be a huge improvement on the brick they gave out before?

Any ideas who to go for?
