Not at the moment, i'im on that cab and no plans to upgrade on the leaked PCP cabinet schedule from Openreach. so we wont know if they do plan to upgrade it unless a new spreadsheet gets leaked.

I along with quite a few others are still waiting for my local box to go live, which is the junction of Mervyn Road and Ashby Road. Firstly does anyone have an update on this particular box, I think the road may need digging up from reading on here.

Secondly those of you who have it, how has the connection settled down, and what sort of constant speeds are you getting now ??

I live on Main Street, Stretton (Postcode DE13 0EA). There is a new cabinet at the junction of Main Street/Church Road (which I can almost see from my house), but I think I'm connected to cabinet on Beech Lane,. which doesn't have a new one next to it..

Is there any way of checking whcih cabinet I'm connected to and finding out if & when the Beech Lane one is going to be upgraded?

Cheers

Si

Scrap that - I've just trawled through the rest of the posts. Seems odd, as our cabinet serves all the businesses in the middle of the village...

Hi, ordered mine on 4th of May and am still awaiting installation after openreach not turning up on 2 occasions. I then have to wait 2 weeks for another appointment. My next appointment is 22nd of June and I have been told by sky that they have blocked all new orders for fibre until the backlog is cleared. Don't know how true this is.

I had 2 cancellations ( 6th and 8th June and was not told it had been cancelled ) then the engineer came yesterday 18th June and did the work…. But I have no internet still because they have got to do something at the exchange… Could still be waiting for a while…

That is unfortunate. Usually you're straight online after you've been plugged in at the cabinet.
