(shows cabinet info now)

No data from December, but who knows what may be in the April release.

Hi, where does that information come from and where can I get more info?

My check says 'FTTC, but not available yet' Probability 100%

Has a cabinet number of P35 but Speed and Phase are both empty, is there anywhere I can check how long it is likely to take?

Thanks

Neil

Speed and Phase empty means it wasn't scheduled, (in December).

Unfortunately not. BT don't believe in the free flow of information between itself, and its customers frown

Thanks for the replies but I still don't get exactly what FTTC, but not yet available means?
Is it saying that the cabinet has already been upgraded or just that the exchange is ready?
Thanks again

It means it is planned, but not available to order.

The metal cabinet may be in place, but other work to put the innards in it, connect mains, link it to the other cabinet, or upgrade work at the exchange may still be under way.

Or there may be planning delays and teams have gone to another town, and will one day come back.

So many variables and no public information, hence the not yet available, as in it should arrive at some point, but no one can say when

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up.
I still have no date on the BT website but have put up with 2 meg for over two years so can wait a while longer.

I can actually see that cabinet from the front window it's just over the road maybe 30 metres away. How is the uplift calculated? Seems low considering my proximity and the fact I can only get 4.5Mb on adsl2+.

Have a look at what this checker says for FTTC and for ADSL2+. I expect it is a lot lower than 4.5Mbps for ADSL2+. They tend to be conservative on FTTC as well.

Hi all,
Can anyone who has access to the April rollout sheet check my postcode please?
ME19 4NH
As it is only a two year old estate I'm guessing it will be one of the cabinets left out as not commercially viable frown
Thanks
