HI, you are right, the green boxes are at the roundabout on the main road. What would the right box look like?

It's a bit confusing, as it says your postcode may be served by more than one cabinet. The 100% should mean there is only one. If you tell me your postcode I can check against the raw data that site checks.

The rest of it is easy. The cabinet (if there is only one for thr postcode) is number 5. So you can go and find it. It will be getting FTTC in phase 8a, which should be some time this year. The phase dates get very woolly as all sorts of things cause delays.

You should get roughly 2.96 times the speed you get now.

That data may have been updated this April. I expect you noticed the site said it is based on last December data, which is the latest publicly available.

postcode is po226rd

there is a green cabinet at the end of our road approx 100yds but its a really old double door box, outside my house though i do have a double Manhole for BT cables....would this be where the fibre goes if / when its installed, or does it have to go to the cabinet?

thx

Yes there is only that one cabinet, No. 5, serving the postcode. All BT phone cabinets, (PCPs) have their number on, unless it has worn off or been vandalised.

FTTC needs a second cabinet to be installed within 50 cable metres of the PCP. So check that is the PCP and watch out for any markings or road/pavement works near it.

I have some cabinet pictures.
