Interleaving on FTTC

[link to this post]

What typical ping speeds should be seen with a FTTC connection that has interleaving switched off and one that has interleaving switched on?

I think there are too many variables, but from very little experience, below 10ms with it off, above 20ms with it on.

I'm in N.Ireland... with interleaving on:

2 217.32.142.100 (217.32.142.100) 27.389 ms 29.491 ms 27.519 ms

Interleaving off:

2 217.32.142.100 (217.32.142.100) 11.689 ms 14.395 ms 11.585 ms

So for me it adds in the range of 15ms-19ms

Mine was typically 8ms with interleaving off but after the DLM applied interleaving (reported as 7ms by my modem/router) it has increased to about 14ms.
These are typical values when pinging bbc.co.uk
