Another which cabinet query

[link to this post]

Hey all

Having read the many helpful posts on this forum I thought I would see if you could all now help me.

Our exchange (Larbert, Scotland) has finally been added to the FFTC rollout and was announced in March for 2013 deployment. I live in hope that it will be early 2013 but we shall see!

In advance of any new Openreach spreadsheet leaking (fingers crossed) I was wondering if anyone would be able to identify which cabinet postcode FK5 4PS connects to? An maybe a helpful ISP member could even see if that postcode has any FTTC data yet regards to inclusion in the rollout smile

Thanks for any help.

So have you put your telephone number into the BTW ADSL checker? This will give you the planned service date for your line.

I have done but it still just shows the old ADSL 2 estimates. I had assumed this was because the exchange has only just been added to the rollout (was added in literally the last batch of exchanges).

There is no data released since December I'm afraid, so nothing for this postcode.

Not strictly true, checker shows nothing FTTC related for my number, cabinets been in for about two months.

However my works number in a different town does show we should get it by June place holder date, but cabs not even in.

I did say "should" not will!

In the fullness of time, provided the line isnt fully unbundled, it may become available.

Somebody got out of the wrong side of the bed today!

Actually you said "this will", I suggest you check your post before getting the hump.

I was just trying to save any confusion.
