FTTC Checker - line length

Is there an FTTC checker that tells you your line length from your cabinet?

Sure Ive seen people mention something like that on here but may have dreamt it!

Not that I know of. But if you have been told your cabinet number by anyone here, then using the speed multiplier you should get a better estimate than the BT Wholesale one. Then that could be converted back to an estimated distance.

There's no (public) checker I know of that shows line length either, they all take into account additional factors such as line quality, external noise and crosstalk.

Best estimate you can get is off an engineer's JDSU, which can directly measure line characteristics, best estimate you can get without kidnapping an Openreach engineer (or their kit) is by finding your cab off one of the leaked spreadsheets and using a map.
