infinity

can anybody help i have had infinity since mid april .
i am getting up to 15mbps .the line is configured for 15.95mbps so it is good on download
the problem starts with upload again configured for 10mbps but i have never achieved
more than 400kbps as usual bt cannot or will not admit there is something i was told bt
to accept it as it is or leave bt and they took me out of contract

Has ISP confirmed the downstream and upstream connection speeds for you?

'Configured for' - where are these figures actually from?

i have just ran speedtester.bt.com here are the figuers

download speed 14.68mbps
acceptable range 12mbps-15.96mbps
line ip profile 15.96mbps

upload speed 0.38kbps
upload line profile for line 10mbps

it is very strange
