Burton on Trent Infinity

[link to this post]

Hi,

Does anyone have any more information about Cab 5 in Burton on Trent (Ashby Road). this was being discussed at the thread below but for some reason the thread was closed mid discussion!

The cabinet has been upgraded for fibre but is not yet live, apparently some more work needs to be done, but this has been months now and the date given on the BT Infinity site is now pushed back to September.

Some cabinets go live quick and some take forever. We still have 5 in our area that have been there for over a year now and still not live. It's usually power issues that cause the delay. There is no way to find out, only Openreach know.

P.S. It's not "Infinity", its "FTTC" - infinity is just a package name, and not just available from BT smile
