Open Reach to show cabinet deployment on website

[link to this post]

Last night I emailed OR about various cabinets and got this reply, see the last line.

NDRAM 1 - There is a delay delivering this cab due to blockages in the underground ductwork.
NDRAM 21 - This is scheduled for Phase 9a delivery, Dec 12
NDRAM 38 - This has currently been deferred out of the program for technical reasons
NDTHA 8 - - This is in Delay, multiple delays inc, blockages. No date for deployment
NDTHA 17 - As Above
NDBRO 5 - This is scheduled for Phase 10a delivery, Mar 13
NDBRO 21 - This cab is not in the roll-out for Fibre Broadband
NDBRO 28 - This is scheduled for Phase 10a delivery, Mar 13
NDRAM 25 - This cab is not in the roll-out for Fibre Broadband
NDRAM 42 - This cab is not in the roll-out for Fibre Broadband

Following the local roadworks list is not the best way of finding out about our deployment. We may have multiple roadworks and still be unable to deploy

From next month our website will show deployment at cabinet level. Please monitor progress from there.

Hopefully they'll also list information about when cabinets are scheduled for and what hold ups there are, perhaps they've got fed up with all the emails wink

Looks like they've got the message. Possibly a PR wannabee on work experience taught them.

Could I ask which part of the website it will be available on? I have several different checkers and BT pages bookmarked, would like to think I already have it, but just in case wink.

So does this mean they will list the cabinet for a particular phone number or address? And include EO lines.

Maybe the rollout is to become more based on cabinets, rather than exchanges.

Can confirm this.

Messaged OR today and got this with the response:

Both cabs 2 & 8 are still within the build process. Im sorry that the date has slipped but this has been due to circumstances beyond our control. However, both cabs, subject to no more problems, are due to be completed by mid to late October 12. We are improving our website shortly and you will be able to see progress at a cabinet, rather than at an exchange level.

No idea what or where information will be, apart from what's stated in the first post. I have replied back enquiring as to what information will be available.
