FTTP in the Olympic athletes village

I came across an article that described the installation of FTTP throughout the apartment blocks that make up the athletes village in Stratford.

While it undoubtedly includes some BT self-puffery, it is interesting to see what is required to deploy the technology in large-scale, rather than when we just think of our own individual houses. 2818 apartments in 67 blocks.

There's also a fascinating article on getting dense mobile data coverage, detailing work at Twickenham as a trial. It isn't just as simple as making cells smaller wink Fascinating, of course, only if you're into that kind of stuff.
