I am moving in a month to a property which most likely has FTTC availailable. I've been looking at Sky, TalkTalk, PlusNet.. but they all have 18 month minimum contract.

Sky is only 12 months.

That's excellent news. I currently have Sky TV but the property I'm moving to doesn't have the TV service, so I may just stick with them for broadband as I'm happy with them.
I referred to this table when looking at the providers. It didn't say what Sky does in terms of contract length, I know they do 12 months for TV but I assumed it would be 18 as all the big providers are unfortunately adoping this time scale.
I can't find the T&C's for Sky's Fibre service yet.

I referred to this table
That table is very badly out of date I'm afraid. It was set up in the early days of Openreach FTTC, by orly and yarwell, with a few others having editing rights as well. It was brilliant at the time as ISPs started to offer the service. There are many more now of course.

Yarwell has frequent long spells of absence. Orly has migrated to Canada and no doubt has more interesting things to do than maintain the spreadsheet.

Note - it has only one mention of 80/20? Even that is missing for the Business version of that ISP. I have already given you the current Plusnet products which bear little relation to the ones there.

Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.0/13.9Mbps @ 600m.

I said nothing with respect to the breaking of the contract.

I suggest you read my post, and not what you thought I would say.

It was another twisted "are you suggesting" question, just like last time.

It's what trolls do. They're really not worth responding to.

Another excerpt from the troll tactics:
The following is a further extract from the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) of the mailing list that is dedicated to trolling. It will help you to understand what type of person you are up against...
"Anyone can walk into alt.sex and post that pornography should be banned. Anyone can walk into rec.sport.baseball and say "baseball sucks". It takes unbelievable skill and discipline to cause a PROLONGED flame war. That is what we do. But it can only be done with talent, and numbers to match that talent. We only bring into the fold people who have the knack to use smarts to incite chaos, not stupidity to incite being ignored when people see a post and know what you're up to."

I think we've found Bob's forte...

Would it be wise to edit it and add a last updated date to show it's out of date and no longer updated?

... If so you are seriously misleading people on this forum?
Nothing like as badly as you try to do.

Incidentally, when did a question mark become the correct terminator for a statement?

It happens, just like when they put a question mark after Ron Burgundy's name...

True smile. But when you get an ass trolling the forums, and not even bothered to correct posts like this when it is pointed out to them, it's time to make fun of them. It's the only way to remain sane yourself.

Interestingly that arose from this one. I expected a few "likes" of my reply to that frown .

Too subtle for me - or perhaps I was skimming too fast by then.

How do you "like" a post? I don't see anything to give any cred, rep, or anything similar? Perhaps just a reply?

Must admit I missed the relevance of the phase in your reply, think I automatically inserted correct word when reading his post.
