Shaftesbury

[link to this post]

We're currently in a rented house in north Dorset looking for a house to buy. There's a village served by the Shaftesbury exchange which has a number of houses we might be interested in if it wasn't for the fact that at best they get around 3Mbps. Shaftesbury is due to get FTTC sometime next year (listed under future exchanges). Is there any way to find out if the cabinet in the village is in the plans? If it is we might just buy there and ride out the poor speeds until FTTC arrives.

If there was cabinet information easily available I would have aggregated it already.

Only way you might find out is the contact us in the Superfast microsite on www.openreach.co.uk but doubt they have actually made the final decision and even if they had it would be subject to change.
