Errors on my VDSL line, should I be getting higher speeds

Hi I am on BT Infinity FTTC 80/20 product. I am wondering if I should be getting higher download speeds than I currently get? I must be mayble 500 meters to the cabinet. Here are my line stats.

According to all the stats that's as good as it will get.

In that case then would it be worth my while asking people in my area to drop their fttc connections and switch back to adsl 2+

Which part of the stats are you looking at?

Here's an example where the stats look a little worse, but the sync speeds are quite a bit higher:-

LOL.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 57.4/14.6Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

You're about the same distance as me to the cabinet and you have the same download, and DOUBLE the upload that I have. I think you're very lucky :-/

The only 2 that matter, the respective maximum attainable rates.

In areas of high take up speeds will drop due to crosstalk, that's the nature of the beast and is even more of an issue with VDSL than ADSL. That the two lines have similar attenuations isn't relevant unfortunately.

As mentioned by jchamier, I had also noticed the "lowish" downstream speeds in comparison with the "highish" upstream speeds, thinking there was maybe an unusual situation there (maybe something was possibly restricting downstream speeds).

QLN & SNR data/graphs may indeed show high interference "noise" levels that could more or less confirm high crosstalk levels (or again possibly indicate some sort of a fault on the DS other than high attenuation that is not apparently the issue).

Just for curiosity, for similar connection speeds, what are other users seeing as attenuation values?

EDIT:

FWIW, I did see my own connection's DS speeds reduce when my US cap was increased from 2Mb to up to 10Mb (I actually achieve around 4.5Mb US).
Switching between 40/2 & 40/10 as an experiment a couple of times via my ISP did seem to prove the point.

I wonder if an 80/10 capped connection would allow higher DS speeds at the expense of some US speed (on some connections)?
