330Mb Business FTTP Services

[link to this post]

Hello!

Is anyone aware of any suppliers planning to offer the 330/20 or 330/30 FTTP products at full data rate?

What do you mean by full data rate?

As in 1:1 contention, or just actually offer the top tier connection speed, with the usual contention?

By full data rate I meant just the full data rate of the 330Mb FTTP circuit rather than being shaped per the BT Retail 160Mb offering to a lower level.

Usual contention is par for the course!

Have not seen any provider push it, the BT Retail 160Meg kludge is the highest yet. Most seem happy to keep it in trial stages for now.

That kludge is interesting, I did wonder about that.

It's actually using a special offer which expires at the end of January. After that the BT Wholesale line rental just for FTTP ignoring WBC bandwidth, etc, will be 33GBP/month + VAT.
