finding out when/if a cabinet is going active?

[link to this post]

I've narrowed down (with help from iwish) the particular cabinet, P69, on the MRALT exchange which is serving my house at WA14 2JB.

It's status , as per FTTC Checker, is "Removed or Deferred from deployment".

Does this mean it will be very unlikley/ never will get Fibre broadband?

is there anything as a group of inviduals we can do to influence this?

It more likely means that FTTC will be a long wait ... You need to find out why it has been removed. You could start by emailing nga.enquiries-at-openreach.co.uk with your details and te cabinet.

Based on their response you could get a better view of prospects and then decide how to proceed

There are many reasons including: not financially viable, blocked duct/access, no power available, too expensive to provide power, exchange will not be upgraded, planning permission refused ... Some are fatal, others can be resolved in time.

It probably going to be down to power issues or planing permission.
Email nga and ask what the reason is.
If it is planing then get onto your local councillor. If its power then not much can be done by yourself

Which checker tells you that?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 54.0/14.9Mbps @ 600m. - BQM
