HG612 Sync Speed

[link to this post]

Does anyone know how to force the HG612 to do a full resync? If I power it off and on or select the reboot option, it always resycs at exactly the same speed (36700ish) with a SNR of 7.4dB.

That re-syncing at exactly the same speed presumably means that your line, while unimpressive in performance, is very stable.

By logging-in via telnet, it's possible to watch the negotiations of the re-sync, for the sake of assurance smile

By the look of his sig, I suspect that something has caused him to be put on a banded profile.
