Cabinet In Address Checker - Now What?

[link to this post]

Wondering if anyone has any idea how far a cabinet is along the process of commissioning when it appears in the address checker?

Address STREET SIDE DSLAM CAB NMCEQI, WAGGON ROAD, LEEDS, LS10 4GT on Exchange HUNSLET is served by Cabinet 82

It's not in the ground yet but Openreach estimate this year - that match other people's experiences?

Does the reference indicate that the type of DSLAM needed has been decided and allocated?

Every line with a cabinet will get that mention, even if the cabinet has no plans.

You did look at the address, right?

No, there are several properties in that postcode. I see the cab can't get FTTC.

What's a "NAD Key and District ID"?

It has not been possible to return
data for the given NAD (Name &
Address Database) key
as there is
either no associated DP or there are
multiple DPs linked with it.

FTTPoD perhaps ?

Not seen a cab on the address checker before, and can't reproduce it.

District ID is the first two characters of the exchange ID which make up the MDFSiteID...

A combination of CSS exchange code and
district code e.g. WWNABB.

I guess you need to know the Postcode a cab is in. Access to the PCP to Postcode data would help https://www.google.com/fusiontables/DataSource?docid...

I've seen many a cab listed under a postcode, here's the ones from my local area, just enter the postcode in the address checker.

They often show up before the cabs even installed, so I just presumed once BT had decided to install a cab it was added to their database.
