Cabinet enabled but cant order

Hi,

Cabinet went in a few weeks ago and is powered. Heard from NGA enquiries that the cabinet was completed yesterday.

Checker shows no FTTC availiable and does not even have a date next to it. OR say that it will take a "couple of weeks" for the checker to update.

Has anyone any experience of how long it takes after the cab is live to when i can actually see it on the checker and order? Is the fact no future date is shown normal?

Is there any way I can order now without it being on the checker?

Some Rutland cabinet entries on the checker were updated and taking orders a couple of days after a "going live" PR event, I doubt you can order if the wholesale availability checker says no.

So looks like a "computer says no" job until someone can be bothered to update the checker. Its live, why it takes 2 more weeks is beyond me.

Do you happen to have a postcode for the house closest to the cabinet?

And how far are you from it, it may the winding route of the cable means you are so far they are not going to give you an estimate.

The key is whether anyone else has managed to order.

LE3 2XS house number 1 is where the cabinet is. I am about 50-75 meters away as the crow flies. I have checked other postcodes and it shows the same, nothing.

The new DSLAM cabinets have to be audited before they can accept orders, this *may* be the hold up.

If I was previously showing in the BT Wholesale checker as coming, and an estimate was being given, it is quite normal for it to disappear from there for two or three days before becoming available.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 51.8/16.8Mbps @ 600m. - BQM
