FTTC - Cab not economically viable - options?

[link to this post]

Short story, exchange is fibre enabled (very soon) but cab is economically not viable as too few premises are connected to it. Just wondered if anyone knows how to move the immovable object that is Openreach?

I've written to my MP who pretty much got the same reply. Sadly BDUK probably isn't an option as I can get Virgin (but i'd rather not do business with them again).

Is it worth running a local campaign - thinking of leafleting the local area effected by the tiny Cab (cab 50, Stechford exchange - Birmingham). Anyone had any success with Openreach?

Current on Zen, getting around 5mb.
Exchange is Fibre enabled, street cab not economically viable to upgrade.
Could get V*rgin, but I'd rather not.

Money? And might want £30,000.
How many premises connected to the cab?

Some have put up a large sum to bridge the gap.

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

Looks like a long night ahead - thanks anyway

A quick check show possibly around 250 houses on the cab, but it's a smaller one (http://www.kebablog.co.uk/blogpics/cab50.jpg) so not sure if there's any more hidden in the area.
