Openreach Working

I was surprise to see BT Openreach was working in my street all day today

How come BT Openreach working on the Sunday? Thought they only work Mon-Fri only.

Maybe they want to speed it up or maybe it a lovely weather to do it.

It's far from uncommon for Openreach or their contractors to work Sundays. They've been doing it throughout the FTTC rollout.

Strangely enough, Max, they don't just randomly pop out when the weather is nice to do work, they are tasked somewhat in advance.

They operate 24/7 and will deploy engineers as and when they are required and available.
