Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband

[link to this post]

There appears to have been an update on progress on both BDUK processes in Scotland which will be merged in a rebrand as "Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband".

I'm a bit annoyed that this has been hidden away in a blog post with no updates on the official news feed or on the twitter feed.

Just need to get either the SG or BTO to confirm if my own local area is due to get Superfast and by which route. Easier said than done........

Great find Delone.

I had made a post for all DS stuff here - http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/fibre/f/4274980-res...

Im in an area where the exchange has been enabled but my cabinet has not due to surveying at the time only a few houses had been built. Now with a few hundred in there, Duncan Nesbitt had confirmed my area was eligible, but I'll have to wait til next year for them to confirm approx date.

I'm beginning to think the person that does their social media updating is on a really long holiday or off sick. There are still no updates on the main site or twitter feed! Nothing about the Invernesshire or Moray update either.

Maybe it's because they are all working hard on a really detailed map that will tell us everything we want to know. Fingers and toes crossed.
