Improved connection since firmware update

[link to this post]

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed an improved connection since the cab/modem update? I've had interleaving removed but my sync speed hasn't gone back up as far as it used to. As a result (it seems) my modem is holding the line better:

I've had interleaving removed before but my speed was usually in the low 70s and interleaving came back after a couple of weeks. There's also obvious packet loss during that period). At the moment I have no noticeable packet loss.

Quite a bit more on that on

I had interleaving removed. My max rate dropped a fraction, but that was more than compensated for in reduced error correction, so my sync went up (from around 70 to around 77)

Moved (with trepidation turned relief) to BT Infinity 2 for upload speed. Happy BE user for several years.

for me and some others on kitz forums its worse.

I sync at the same speed, which is surprising given various tones get turned off by this firmware, but I have a error rate of about 300% over the previous firmware, and the first couple of days the error rate was almost 10x.
