Routers For Sky FTTC

[link to this post]

HI,

I am looking at replacing the Sky Hub with a newer router, I currently have the BT Openreach Modem connected to the Sky hub so I am looking for a router that would work with the Openreah modem, I am thinking about something like this below? Is anyone on here using it on Sky FTTC if so how have they found it?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-802-11AC-Airport-Extre...

Thanks for the help.

Sky is "special" when it comes to router authentication on FTTC, most routers do not send the requisite DHCP option. So be careful.

How do you connect the airport to the modem, given the odd username and password that Sky use?

... and the Billion 7800DX and DXL models, the 8200N, also a couple of the new Draytek's do as well and not forgetting anything that can run DD-WRT and pfSense.
