Fibre Finally?

[link to this post]

Hi,

http://i.imgur.com/G6TPq1B.png

Is this mean fibre will be finally be available to order? I've had the Fibre Cabient Installed since Nov 13 and BT been to it numerous times, noticed this appeared on Roadworks, is this more work on it, or finally it will be ready!

I have emailed Openreach twice and gave two different dates, End of Feb, End of March

Thanks

JB,

Elgin was planned to be done in two waves - end of March and end of May. It appears the south side (Pinefield, etc) has gone live already but I would expect the other areas to go live on time.

Also, oddly, the PCP on Harrison Terrace is number 17, yet the BT checker lists Harrison Terrace properties as running off PCP 8 which seems a little strange.

Hi,

Thanks for this information, The PCP on Harrison is 17, maybe some on this street is connected to PCP 8, which is a bit weird. Don't think it will be long now.

Have you confirmed using the BT Wholesale checker that your line is connected to 17? If not, worth doing just to make sure.

I'm a bit happier today because they've just sited the fibre twin for Cab 11 in Forres which means we are hopefully on track for the end of May prediction for that cabinet.

Yeah, I'm on PCP 17, I'm not on Harrison terrace. But close by.

Hi,

Just an update, dslchecker now shows it's available smile.

31 May 14 was the estimated date, so a month before is better than expected!

Some Cabients was delayed to 30 Sep 14 is now also available.

Have ordered BT Infinity 2, 2 weeks today it should be ready.
