Good news for Kingsbridge, Devon

[link to this post]

I see on roadworks.org that there are at least 5 new NGA cabinets currently being installed in Kingsbridge, TQ7. Great news for the area. And surprisingly, some of the smaller exchanges such as Torcross are also going to be upgraded next month. No idea how they will run fibre from there to the villages but that too seems to be underway. A cabinet is due to be installed in a small village, Slapton, whose telecoms probably hasn't been touched since the American troops were stationed there 70 years ago.

Fair play to BDUK and its offshoots. It's been a ridiculously long wait but finally we may have an upgrade to our 512k line in the near future.
