On Your Marks ...... East Sussex BDUK

[link to this post]

A shiny new Huawei FTTC box has appeared next to the PCP (Newick2) NDNEI in our village, courtesy of BDUK East Sussex Phase 2. It's connected to the power just needs fibre and interconnects to be done! East Sussex Council say all of phase 2 will be live by the Autumn (But I suspect will be sooner), Openreach state it will be live "Calendar year 2014". From this state of build what's the best or worst I can expect in terms of time to talking orders? Better still has anyone an inside track on this?

Thanks Ribble, here's hoping, I wonder what the current record is for time between cab stand up and ready for orders?

I drove via Heathfield the other day and there was an Army of OR vans. I drive past Newick daily and have seen them popping up smile

Yes all the Newick Cabs have been stood up and powered, Just the need to tie them to the PCP's and get fibre to them (assuming that the exchange equipment is in place somewhere).
