Superfast Cymru

[link to this post]

Interesting news item on ispreview regard Wales broadband http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2014/06/welsh-g...

Does anybody read that as all blue areas on the maps will get FTTC/P ( or at least 1 property in that postcade area), so if your postcode is not on the white postcode list you will eventually get FTTC/P.

Does this also mean that those areas on the map in blue too far from cabs (i.e. me - 3miles) for copper to be viable will get FTTP?

I think this goes by postcode area, if a property in a particular postcode can/will recieve fibre then that postcode area is blue (is your postcode on the white list?) how large is your postcode area?

My postcode is not on the white list (ie. it is blue).

My postcode is 100% exchange only lines.

My postcode consists of two groups of properties (approx 5 in each group) 1 Km apart.

We may get FTTP (unlikely) or fibre to the remote node

So my daughter's postcode is not on whitelist , Xwavia cover area with Wimax,Would I be eligible for grant.
Xwavia have special deals at moment, awaiting quote, better option than Satellite. Neighbour has it and better than my ADSL at previous address.
