Aylsham (EAAYL) Cabinet 7 query

[link to this post]

Hi all,

We were suppose to go live March 2014 for fibre, but got bumped to June 2014.

As we get towards the end of the month, does anyone know if this cab will go live?

Appears to have the power sorted, but not sure if fibre has been connected.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well 1st July and no sign of Cab being enabled.

Postcode NR116DN

No other cabs appear to be enabled in town.

Any news? Roadworks.org shows nothing.

Help!

Took a drive in my lunch hour - all the cabinets I could find in town are powered on and putting random numbers into the DSL checker shows FTTC available.

Went back to cabinet 7 which my line hangs off - nothing. Quiet as a mouse.

What's annoying is, the cabinet at the bottom of my road IS enabled!

Slight update, had a response from the Better Broadband For Norfolk team - who say the cab "should" be enabled by end of month. The Exchange (EAAYL) is now at Accepting Orders on the Openreach site.

Is this the norm? Is there anyway to tell if there is a delay for some reason? (Blocked duct, capacity, planning etc)???

Again, checking my postcode above on roadworks.org shows no Openreach work for next 12 months.

Anyone in the know can help shed any light on this?
