?
He means just a wiring cabinet for copper connections. That means it carries phone + ADSLx broadband to you, but nothing at all to do with fibre broadband I'm afraid.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.4/14.5Mbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

HI Everyone,

Would you have any ideas in how openreach would get fibre to me? As in this is the cab that servers my house. What would openreach need to do to get me fibre? What should I look out for? Openreach are always around here and lately they have been in the ground with the air compressor machine.

Thanks for any advice smile

Usually put in an additional cabinet nearby with all the electronics , run fibre to the new cabinet , and link the new one to the existing cabinet
