Sky LLU -> BT FTTC

[link to this post]

It's been a while since I've used actual BT services. Having a bit of a nightmare changing everything over. Sky gave me a MAC code which BT never asked for. BT now want to know the cease date from sky and have delayed the order?

Anyone know what the proper procedure is here?

Bt do a sim provide to a move the line and broadband at the same time

Sky get notified and write giving you option to say you option to say no to transfer.

No cease by Sky

They are asking for a cease date from sky. What is this? I have never heard of that.

One reason I always go via the 2nd line route if switching between LLU or LLU to BT wholesale providers. Ok it can be more expensive but if you are switching to BT they usually provide the line FOC.

So they have cancelled the order because they didn't get an appropriate cease date off Sky apparently. This all sounds like rubbish to me.

As far as I can understand, Sky LLU -> BT wholesale should be entirely done by BT with no MAC code required, correct?
