Who else is connected to my cabinet?

[link to this post]

I'm having a nightmare trying to get my cabinet upgraded to fibre when all around are already upgraded. I want to post a letter to all affected people urging them to contact BT and complain.

Does anyone know how I can find who is on ADSL and connected to Kidbrooke PCP2? Or am I going to have to guess frown

Thanks

Steve

Guess!

Then try all of the addresses in the checker which should confirm the cabinet

The who actually has an ADSL service will be down to you asking the individuals.

If in a commercial area and its not being enabled or got a date, then probably too small to be economic so looking at £20,000 to £40,000 of funding needed to get it enabled.

Asking nicely with lots of signatures does little these days, cold hard currency is the preferred mechanism.

The cab is under review at the moment, they don't have a date for when the planned FTTC will be live.

Kidbrooke PCP2 serves the following postcodes. Percentages are the part of that postcode it serves - blank means 100%:-

DA16 2RE (95%)
DA16 2RJ

DA16 3PG (2%)
DA16 3QU (3%)
DA16 3RT (42%)
DA16 3RH (53%)
DA16 3NL (91%)
DA16 3RL (96%)
DA16 3LQ (98%)
DA16 3LG
DA16 3RB
DA16 3RE
DA16 3LW
DA16 3NP
DA16 3NR
DA16 3RA
DA16 3LH
DA16 3RD
DA16 3AH
DA16 3LL
DA16 3LN
DA16 3LD
DA16 3RG

If you go to the Address option of this checker, (note - not the postcode checker), and enter just the postcode, it will give you a list of all addresses. (I don't know if it omits those on MPF - full LLU).

Remember that on those above that are not 100% then a lot of the addresses are on some other cabinet. Clicking the address in the list does tell you the cabinet. So DA16 3PG 98% of the lines are not on PCP2.

Have fun tongue.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Something wrong there!

DA16 3RD the first address I chose is on Cab 24 frown. (180 BELLEGROVE RD, WELLING, DA16 3RD)
But MULBERRY COURT, 160 BELLEGROVE ROAD, WELLING, DA16 3RD on Exchange KIDBROOKE is served by Cabinet 2.
DA16 3LG 1, JUBILEE FL, LULWORTH RD, WELLING is on Cab 2, so just be careful.

We wanted the same info so we could flyer everyone on our cabinet, so I wrote a quick app to get the info

http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/fibre/t/4342436-app...

If you're interested, the flyer we used is here: http://cheltenham151.com/documents/

Cheers,

Matt

Interesting Flyer, do you mind if I rip off the idea for my local area?

Current on Zen, getting around 5mb down - .8mb up
Exchange is Fibre enabled, street cab not economically viable to upgrade.

Re your flyer. You won't be eligible for BDUK funding if you have access to Virgin Media. If only some of the properties have access to VM then it is possible BDUK may help but not until later in the programme.
