Finally!

[link to this post]

OR appointment is a PM slot, so nothing expected before 1pm, but line just went dead, so snuck round the corner and saw an OR van at the PCP.

Dashed back to the house to reconfigure the Fritz!Box, and here we have it:
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results.html...

Max. DSLAM throughput kbit/s 80000 20000
Min. DSLAM throughput kbit/s 128 128
Attainable data rate kbit/s 93833 29600
Current throughput kbit/s 79995 19999
Seamless rate adaptation off off

Latency fast fast
Impulse Noise Protection 0 0
G.INP off off

Signal-to-noise ratio dB 10 15
Bitswap on off
Line attenuation dB 17 21

Profile 17a
G.Vector off off

Carrier record A43 A43

I hope it stays like this! Will still try and grab he OR modem from the engineer when he/she turns up.

Spoke too soon!

Still synched at 80/20 but speeds have dropped!

Is it normal to take a while to settle down? Or perhaps ISP config needed? It is early days (hours) of course.

If the modem is connected at 80/20 then DLM has not taken any effect, throughput is subject to many variables.

Back up again now, sort of, at least the HTTP test.

No complaining though - way faster than the 14/1 I had before!
