How long for the BT checker/database to update? (EO lines)

[link to this post]

I've been told that the lines around here have been moved to the new PCP (currently all EO but a ton of work going on for several weeks with the PCP being wired up and the fibre twin appeared just before Christmas), and whilst I don't expect to see fibre availability yet as there is no doubt work still to be done on enabling that, I would expect to see the cabinet number showing?

How long does it usually take for EO lines to show a cabinet number once the lines have been routed though the PCP?

Depends on whether the work has been finished and signed off, then usually a few days.

Thanks, Andrew. Updated end of January and now the EO lines in this area showing as the new PCP. Fibre cabinet due to get power end of this month - it's all getting near(er), can't wait!

Just keep checking with your number at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com and if it shows no cabinet number its still EO - if it changes to a cabinet number then your line will have moved smile

About a month after the cabinet number appeared in the checker, it's now showing the FTTC availability has appeared on the wholesale DSL Checker, with orders being accepted - just over a week after the power connection roadworks were completed.

Openreach Where and When site also updated this morning to 'AO' Accepting Orders.

Both cabinets installed & fibre cabinet has power already ,Still installing concrete manhole with cover.
The new pcp cabinet backs up to a lime stone wall ,So the work men dug into the wall to set it back further back from the foot path and at the moment it looks BAD ,When pointed up it may look better and might help
stop the six foot high limestone wall from falling down.

Heres the wall before install : The Telephone exchange is just visible over it
