https://www.followthatpage.com had been removed. BT probably taken it down for auto dsl checker change in page to customer to alert them by email in now no longer in use.

In English, I guess you mean BT have instructed FollowThatPage.com to stop polling the DSL checker page?

The post was extremely hard to decipher and Irby's explanation helped enormously. I don't think you know what "spammy" means.

I hadn't a clue what the OP was on about, and I believe myself quite good at deciphering his posts. Irby's interpretation was useful.

Agreed. It often takes a few brain-transpositions to work out what adslmax meant, rather than what he said. You get used to it after a while...
