Dereham Exchange - Cab 11

[link to this post]

Hi,

I'm on Dereham exchange, cabinet 11 - the Fibre checker tells me nothing at all when i type in my number in relation to fibre :

WBC ADSL 2+ Up to 14.5 -- 12.5 to 16.5 Available
WBC ADSL 2+ Annex M Up to 14.5 Up to 1 12.5 to 16.5 Available
ADSL Max Up to 7.5 -- 6.5 to 8 Available
WBC Fixed Rate 2 -- -- Available
Fixed Rate 2 -- -- Available
Other Offerings
Copper Multicast -- -- -- Available

However on typing in my postcode (NR19 2FB) I also get this line :
Fibre Multicast -- -- -- 31-Mar-15

All of the houses that share this postcode are on Cabinet 11.

Does this mean FTTC will be coming to me in March, or is this just wishful thinking?

Thanks

Andrew

Fibre Multicast is the multicast system used for live BT Sport etc

The date of 31st March also applies to your cabinets RFS date, so its not just wishful thinking, I'd take a peek at the south end of Cemetery Road and see if the fibre twin has appeared.

www.roadworks.org says the following "Build 1 precast chamber in 915mm x 445mm x 965mm deep in Footway,Install 12m of 1 way poly duct in Footway,Install 2m of 2 poly ducts in Footway,Install 9m of 2 poly ducts in Carriageway" with traffic lights present and due to happen on 26th to 28th.

Thanks for your quick response - there is a new Green box, which I would assume would be the 'twin', it was installed in August or so last year.

There were no traffic lights today, hopefully they will appear tomorrow.

Is there a reason BT put some data on the postcode checker, but not on the phone number one?
