Fibre On EO Lines Hilltop Knottingley Soon or Not ? MYKNO

[link to this post]

I live 200 yards from the exchange on a EO line , website for west york super-fast broadband says phase 4 Jan - June this year. Postcode used WF11 8HD

Just checked on roadworks.org and found This :
Location (PCP27) Side of 25 hilltop Knottingley MYKNO
Description : Install 10m of 2 poly ducts in footway, Provide 1 cabinet and base ( NGA Cabinets )

There is on the footpath a BT underground cable access lid next to the work being done .

Does this look hopeful

I expected the cabinet when installed to be in the grounds of the telephone exchange, but sounds like
on the footpath ?

Generally, they try not to put them in the grounds of the exchange

Days, weeks, months, years. All have been known, unfortunately.

It is unlikely to be years, but it could be a few months - BT seem to be desperately short of people with the skills necessary for re-jointing the EO lines through the new PCP; I'd guess this would be the most likely cause of delays.
