Quite a depth of downstream interleaving has kicked in - D: 1107 1

That is what has caused the sync speed drop.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync 60000/16961kbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

It is likely that interleaving has kicked in. It has potential to drop further depending on cross-talk in future.

It may be worth switching to 40Mbps if there is a substantial price saving? I personally cannot "feel" a real world difference between my 40 and 80Mbps lines. The only time it is noticeable is during a big download such as an OS.

EDIT: Just read the replies already confirming the above.
