FTTC Line Loop calculator

On the VDSL Band Status under Downstream Line Attenuation (D1 only) as mine is 6.9

So, my VDSL Loop Length to the Cabinet are 499Metres away.

6.9 divide by 13.81 multiplies 1000 equal 499 metres.

Am I correct here?

No, since I believe you are trying to use the 300Khz DB/km figure from ADSL/ADSL2+

At 6.9dB you should be full speed sync and around 100m or so from cabinet

Thanks as I am sync at 79999k/20000k with G.INP enabled. But max line rate are 101859k/34994k.

With those max line rates you must be well under the original distance you mentioned. I would have thought 150m or nearer.

Our line has the following attenuation figures from a Billion 8800NL (Broadcom chipset):

Combined: 8.7 dB
Line attenuation in D1: 4.5 dB
Line attenuation in D2: 10.1 dB
Line attenuation in D3: 16.2 dB

Our attainable speed is 108Mbps down, 35Mbps up.

Line length: Around 100m, but probably 0.4mm copper.

adslmax is well aware that he is not 499 metres from the cabinet, pointless post if you ask me.

Line attenuation in D1: 6.9 dB
Line attenuation in D2: 15.9 dB
Line attenuation in D3: 26.2 dB

Our attainable speed is 101Mbps down, 34Mbps up.

Line length: Around 250m

My Line attenuation increasing in the summer
