Running through the various lumps of hardware involved in FTTdp, with a glimpse of how things look right now, in terms of reference designs etc.

There's a very interesting bit towards the end, about where G.fast should go now - and when talking about the requirements for longer reach equipment, the guy very clearly talks about BT being the one making the requests.

The slides were interesting, the audio+strong accent was painful. tongue

So the impression I got was that BT want long reach to install as few units as possible?
