FTTP isp list

[link to this post]

Hi

I believe we are are getting closer to finally getting a FTTP service in our village. Probably months to go yet but work is gathering pace by the looks of it and I think BT are wanting to finish off our roll out which was part of a phase 1 bduk project. With the service being FTTP I am interested to know what isp's offer this service because I believe there are not many compared to the FTTC product ?

Cheers

Pretty much, BT, AAISP and ZEN. PlusNet have a trial for it but it's only for existing customers I believe.

Retail FTTP Providers:
BT Retail
Plusnet
Andrews & Arnold Ltd.
Zen Internet
IdNet
Icuk.net

Business FTTP Providers:
Bt Business Fibre Broadband
Claranet Soho
Entanet
Griffin Internet
NBS Network Solutions
Zen Internet
IdNet business

Plusnet will take an order for FTTP but it has to be made via their telephone sales or message on their forum not online and it involves taking a standard ADSL product first and then upgrading.

Also, you can only have 40/2 or 80/20 with Plusnet, even for FTTP.

I have looked at the pricing on BT and can only seem to find the upto 80 meg speed , any idea how you can find out the cost of the faster packages ?

If you have an FTTP enabled line, when you input the number on the bt.com broadband line checker, you will be shown the options.

Otherwise, check here - http://www.thinkbroadband.com/isp/bt.html
